@Dennis - Keep me posted on how things go and if you have any questions!

@GroovyBrent - Thanks for inviting me. I hope I was able to keep everyone busy for the holidays :)

@Connie - Feel free to contact me anytime. The balance is key and also in knowing the traditional marketing methods is going to differentiate the snakeoil salesman taking advantage of people from the true marketers looking to engage communities.

Unfortunately I was in New York that night and missed your presentation. I am also a member of MCA-I and heavily involved with their website and working to advance the association's presence in the new Social Media - so I was looking forward to the meeting.

Personally, social networking is starting to pay off - between Facebook and LinkedIn groups - I have made several real business contacts that have resulted in actual money and product changing hands. It is challenging to balance the traditional with the new methods of marketing and networking.

Thanks for participating, BJ! I think the audience picked up quite a bit from your presentation (I know I did!).

See you in the Tubes!

Thanks B.J. for all the energy and preparation. As a member of MCA-I, I'm sure I can speak for many on hand who took notes and stayed in their seats to the end and beyond.
As a voice-over guy and media producer, I see many attempting new media, but making mistakes that can not only impede the performance, but reflect poorly on the medium.
You guys appear to be very comprehensive in your approach and you urged the only thing that is in short supply, especially with smaller players. That's consistency. Easy to say, hard to do.
Thanks again for all the great ideas. I'm working on them.
