Required Experience and Skills:

Associate Project Manager

Role Summary

The Associate Producer has an eye for detail, always considers a client’s goals, a capacity to juggle schedules and the passion for setting the right expectations. Your day-to-day activities could include: gathering client assets, writing business requirements, creating/managing budgets, reviewing/altering multiple project schedules, project planning with clients, communicating with multiple clients, facilitating Change Orders and ideation sessions with internal team members. The Associate Producer will also be responsible for working with cross-functional team members, interfacing with clients, and ensuring projects get delivered on-time and on-budget. This role will be split 60% between technology and 40% to marketing. The perfect candidate will understand and be able to facilitate the role of not only a Project Manager/Producer but an Account Manager as well.
Role Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience as an interactive web producer, digital account manager/producer or project manager within a deadline-driven agency
  • Proficiency within MS Project, MS Office or other industry standard software
  • Experience within ecommerce business environments and PHP projects a must.
  • Familiarity using online project management tools (Basecamp, Activcollab, Redmine, Clients & Profits)

User Experience Lead

The User Experience Lead will play a critical role in the strategy, creative and technology aspects of multi-device projects within the digital commerce space. The successful User Experience Lead at DO is a strategic thinker, user advocate, conceptual designer, technology analyst and team player wrapped into one.

While this role is very hands-on (research, personas, sitemaps and wireframes), DO is looking for an User Experience Lead that can push back, challenge cross-functional team leads and clearly communicate the “what” and “why” of the user experience.

Position Responsibilities

  • Requirements gathering that includes user research, stakeholder interviews, technical feasibility assessments, design concepting and future thinking with clients
  • Ownership of user experience for agency and its products
  • Champion principles of usability and user-centered design across the agency
  • Work with Strategy team during research process and participate in user testing and field research as needed

Technical/Solution Architect

Digital Operative (DO) an award winning Digital Agency located in Old Town, is looking for
a Technical/Solution Architect who will be responsible for interpreting, uncovering and
documenting a client’s business processes, technical requirements and use
cases. Using this data, the Technical/Solution Architect will work alongside the
client to ensure that all questions have been asked, all expectations have been
set and that there is alignment between internal teams going from strategic
planning into implementation. We are often asked to do many things we’ve
never done before and finding the right solution is at the core of why clients
work with us. The Technical/Solution Architect is the epitome of this value,
using technology to solve complicated problems without the responsibility of writing code.

Role Responsibilities:

 

    • Consulting — As T/SA, you will be responsible for upfront interpretation of
      client’s business requirements/needs as well as ongoing
      enhancements/maintenance to their existing platforms. This will require
      you to think with agility, be adaptive and confident when “asked the
      tough questions.” You will play a critical role in the agency’s initial
      Strategic Planning phase.

 

    • Solution-ist — You will be the “go-to person” as it pertains to integration
      of 3rd party systems, Magento module development, CMS
      implementations with Magento and preferred vendor recommendations
      from loyalty programs to personalization. While not required to write
      code, you must understand all the technical details and implementation
      processes intimately so you know the how, why and what of the
      recommended solutions.

 

    • Mediator — As T/SA, you will play a key role in translating the client’s
      business requirements across cross-functional teams at the agency. You
      will work closely with Producers and Team Leads to ensure that all use
      cases and tasks are understood by the internal development team. You
      will also play a role in knowing when to push/pull the innovation strings
      when working with Strategy, UX and Design.

 

    • Document-or — You will be responsible for updating all technical documentation as it pertains to project-based work as well as retainer-based work.

 

    • Expert — You will be responsible for knowing the in’s and out’s of all of the platforms we work with at the agency as it pertains to Magento, WordPress, Expression Engine and Drupal.

 

  • Sales Engineer — You will be involved with gathering a prospect’s
    technical and business requirements, then translating those into
    documented solutions and estimates for the Sales and Business
    Development team.

Role Requirements (Experience + Skillset):
