Senior Magento/PHP Developer

We are looking for a Senior Magento/PHP Developer who not only knows his/her stuff, but is passionate and excited about the latest and greatest technologies. You’ll be learning our existing methodologies and applying your own to ensure that DO is producing best-in-class technologies on all of its products. You will get your hands dirty working on web, mobile, and ecommerce. You should be able to work seamlessly with system engineers, back-end developers and user experience designers throughout the process. DO is one of the fastest growing businesses in San Diego. What you will be doing:

  • Comfortable trouble shooting critical production issues
  • Ability to produce clean, well-documented, efficient, and standards-compliant code with an eye towards performance optimization
  • Define, design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance applications and tools written in PHP, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Drupal and other languages as necessary

Content Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist. In this role you will consult with the Marketing team managers, provide expertise across multiple channels and ensure the clients’ content is on brand, engaging and delivering on metrics. You will work across multiple teams including Strategy & Planning, UX, Design, Marketing and Technology to ensure our clients’ brand stories are compelling and reaching their intended audience across multiple channels — Search Engines, Social Media, Mobile and Email. We’re looking for creativity, strategic thinking and a “can-DO” attitude.


  • Act as a subject matter expert for Content Marketing strategies
  • Lead in-depth assessment of the role of content across the customer journey
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice
  • Scientifically audit and update existing content for clients, looking for opportunities to repurpose it with newer, and more relevant content
  • Manage 3rd party content contributors and partnerships on content standards, messaging, and other best practices.
  • Manage and direct 3rd party content producers/vendors (ie. Photographers, Videographers, Artists)
  • Develop and implement a content plan across multiple channels, audience groups and key messages
  • Collaborate with the various marketing team members to develop, manage and maintain a content/editorial calendar

Senior Web and Visual Designer

We are looking for a Senior Visual Designer who can blend the art + science of their craft to create memorable user experiences and beautiful pieces of art, no matter the platform or device. Our Senior Designer will not only be passionate about the digital canvas, but also be a contributor to the design community. We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid of collaboration with technology, marketing and strategist types. We are searching for a candidate who blends the best of design principles and branding into every project. You’ll not only be working with our design team, but helping to shape up-and-coming junior designers as needed. Excellent eye for design, imaginative, well-organized, good-natured, flexible and passionate, you bring an advanced understanding of visual design, typography, composition and color theory. Besides a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Multi-Media Design (or a related field), you have the following:

– Minimum 4+ years design experience preferably in an interactive agency, designing websites, branding campaigns, and/or products
– Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite and advanced command of standard design and layout applications (e.g. PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign) and HTML and style sheets
