Director Sales & Business Development

We are a growing digital agency in search of a highly motivated Director Sales & Business Development to join our expanding team. This role will focus on prospecting new business opportunities and cultivating a pipeline of new business prospects to convert into new clients.  This position will report directly to the President. The ideal candidate is equal parts entrepreneur, creative problem solver and ideally will possess a naturally inquisitive nature. This role is one part new business prospecting, one part cultivating existing partnerships that drive revenue for the agency and one part opportunity creator. The landscape of ecommerce and digital marketing are in constant change and you will be a face of the agency out in the market helping customers develop solutions to their challenges at hand. Responsibilities:
  • Research, identify, and tenaciously generate new outbound opportunities
  • Qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline; maintain a high volume of activity including outbound cold calls, emails, & social selling
  • Work with team to produce estimates, proposals, and facilitate the contractual process
  • Consistently meet monthly and annual sales quota
  • Responsible for accurately tracking customer interactions and information in HubSpot CRM
  • Conduct high level conversations with mid-level to senior executives in prospect accounts
  • Evangelize Digital Operative and the services and solutions we provide
  • Develop and maintain an active knowledge of our Strategy, Creative, CX, Media, Analytics, Development and Digital Marketing Services

Minimum Qualifications

Shopify Developer - Remote

We are a growing full-service digital commerce agency in search of an experienced Developer to join our Shopify practice. We're looking for someone who is interested in working with talented team members, exciting clients and growing a Shopify Plus practice. We work on both domestic and global projects with merchants across Consumer Electronics, Outdoors, Fashion, Beauty and CPG. We want to design and build beautiful, technically-sound websites. You'll be joining a growing agency that is expanding in 2021! This is a full-time remote role. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Joining our resident Shopify Plus expert team
  • Working with UX and designers to produce tight, forward-thinking, responsive and scalable front-end experiences
  • Building out custom Shopify themes and modifying pre-existing themes depending on the scope of the project
  • Working with Project Management to scope new functionality requests and supporting Sales to scope new projects

Amazon Marketing Specialist

The Amazon Marketplace Specialist will be responsible for managing the accounts and marketing of the agency's customers on the Amazon channel, growing into multiple marketplace channels. This is a great opportunity to be a part of the early growth stage of this business unit as well as the agency as a whole. In this role, you will have a significant impact on customers' Amazon programs as well as working within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. You will need to be both strategic and operational as this is a hands-on role ensuring we build a best-in-class Amazon and marketplace offering.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Manage Amazon accounts to include: setting up accounts, operating terms, product listings and their optimization
  • Create and implement Amazon Marketing Plans leveraging the expertise from e-commerce and digital marketing staff at the agency
  • Optimize Amazon listings/pages to improve consumer engagement, organic search performance & sales (A+ content development)
  • Drive traffic and execute Amazon AMS/AMG campaigns, lightning deals, and Enhanced Brand Content (EBC) to increase revenue.
  • Interact with Consumers via response to Q&A and well as review feedback to drive engagement and goodwill
  • Manage & optimize Amazon email marketing programs across customers to solicit positive reviews and additional purchases that are in line with the Amazon TOS
  • Strategically plan and drive brand expansions to additional marketplaces domestically and internationally
  • Support launching additional 3rd party marketplace businesses
  • Work with internal digital marketing team to create and execute promotion plans to drive growth
  • Drive the agency's marketplace program's necessary systems and processes
  • Forecast, plan and optimize marketing budgets across the agency's marketplace customers
  • Provide ongoing sales and marketing reporting to provide customer with insights and recommendations to drive growth
  • Work with the customer's internal Operations team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory
  • Participate in account relationships and negotiations with marketplace partners
Role Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience in successfully managing Amazon marketplace programs.
  • Experience managing third-party eCommerce marketplaces for consumer brands
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management or comparable work experience.
  • Proven knowledge of requirements, restrictions and best practices for selling on Amazon & other marketplaces.
  • Knowledge and experience with Amazon SFP, FBA, Sponsored Products, AMS, Promotions, etc
  • Have a data-driven approach to proactively analyze data, find insights, make decisions and execute goals
  • Results-driven and able to work with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals
