Facebook App "Museum of Me" by Intel A Winner
I noticed a link in one of my Facebook friend's status updates called "Museum of Me" and found my curiosity clicking through. After I clicked through and gave this Facebook app from Intel the ability to access everything about me on Facebook, I was pleasantly surprised. When you think about how much time you've put into building up your Facebook social graph from the photos to connections to videos to status updates; you'd be surprised by the digital footprint you left ... or maybe not. When I viewed my version of Intel's "Museum of Me," I saw photos of friends, loved ones, videos of my kids, things I had written, all nicely aggregated and displayed in this virtual 3D museum. It's well done and worth the 5-10 minutes. Experience it for yourself.
Intel's Facebook App "Museum of Me"
The main thing that I appreciated was that fact that it wasn't some Zombies vs. Pirates or JerseyShoreville or Q&A type of Facebook application. Yes for all those naysayers and digerati, they did just access the same old stuff and just put it into a nice 3D experience. But that's the whole point ... it's simple and well executed. Again like we always say here at DO, focus on one thing and nail it.
