DO Design Internship – Week 1: My Expectations

Week 1 of my design internship with Digital Operative. My goal for this internship is a total immersion into the digital agency design mindset. I hope to be able to touch on a few design projects. I want to hone my design skills over the next 12 weeks, and really figure out what it is I want to focus on. I want to be able to exchange my knowledge gained with hard work, and dedication to projects. I not only want to learn, but I want to contribute as well. The design team here at DO is filled with some talented individuals, and I hope to have some of their design juju rub off on me. There seems to be a wide range of projects going on right now, and I hope to be able to experience the processes behind all these projects. From UX design and strategy, to mobile, and motion graphics, I hope to be involved in as many projects as I can. This design internship is a great opportunity for me to soak up and learn as much as I can. Hopefully by the end of the three weeks there will be some more opportunities to continue my design work within the digital space - either with DO, or elsewhere. Either way, Im happy to be here, and excited to be part of the team.
