We are a growing digital agency in search of a highly motivated Director Sales & Business Development to join our expanding team. This role will focus on prospecting new business opportunities and cultivating a pipeline of new business prospects to convert into new clients.  This position will report directly to the President. The ideal candidate is equal parts entrepreneur, creative problem solver and ideally will possess a naturally inquisitive nature. This role is one part new business prospecting, one part cultivating existing partnerships that drive revenue for the agency and one part opportunity creator. The landscape of ecommerce and digital marketing are in constant change and you will be a face of the agency out in the market helping customers develop solutions to their challenges at hand. Responsibilities:
  • Research, identify, and tenaciously generate new outbound opportunities
  • Qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline; maintain a high volume of activity including outbound cold calls, emails, & social selling
  • Work with team to produce estimates, proposals, and facilitate the contractual process
  • Consistently meet monthly and annual sales quota
  • Responsible for accurately tracking customer interactions and information in HubSpot CRM
  • Conduct high level conversations with mid-level to senior executives in prospect accounts
  • Evangelize Digital Operative and the services and solutions we provide
  • Develop and maintain an active knowledge of our Strategy, Creative, CX, Media, Analytics, Development and Digital Marketing Services
  • Develop and maintain an active relationship with key platforms/partners like Adobe Magento, Shopify and more
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of full-time sales experience (professional service sales is a plus)
  • Proven track record of success prospecting for new business
  • Experience with meeting sales quotas and KPIs
  • Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful solution
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Thrive on change while remaining highly organized, optimistic, and coachable
  • High level of self motivation and internal "Can Do Attitude"
  • Someone who can navigate the intricacies of the Sales journey in this new virtual world
  • Someone that is highly organized has attention to detail

  • The ideal candidate will be familiar with the Digital Marketing and Ecommerce landscape and comfortably be able to speak confidently about common industry trends
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Digital Marketing and Agency Services selling environments
  • Experience selling Shopify and Magento solutions
  • Enterprise prospecting experience a plus
